Yard sales are a great way to clean out items from your house you no longer need and help animals at the same time. Ask your parents, friends, teachers and neighbors to donate items to your yard sale. Advertise with posters around your neighborhood and on websites like www.craigslist.com. Many local newspapers might also put a free ad in their weekend edition. For the day of the big event, create signs telling people that you are holding the yard sale to benefit PAWS. Be sure to also have PAWS informational brochures on hand to give to people to learn about the work we do.
