Edwina is the PAWS Graphic Designer. She has worked at PAWS for two and a half years, with four years of experience in other workplaces. Edwina also has a degree in Graphic Design. Her daily duties include creating brochures, posters, booklets, magazines, stickers, cards.
Edwina says she loves working with computers and graphics software. “I’m lucky because I’m around people who are dedicated to ending animal Cruelty and Abuse. I get to do many fun things, like picking out pictures of animals to use for projects, and choosing colors and typefaces. Though I don’t get to work directly with the animals, I love knowing that when I create a brochure or other project, the end result will help them.”
Being the Graphic Artist, Edwina doesn’t work closely with the animals, but she treasures her experiences with them. “Once when I was at the Wildlife Center, I got a close up look at a Red-tailed hawk who was recuperating there. That bird was huge! Later, after the hawk was better, I got to put a picture of him being released back into the wild in the PAWS magazine.”
