More Ways to Help:

Foster Care
Save a life, foster a kitten!  Every year hundreds of lives are saved through PAWS Foster Care Program.  You and your parent or guardian can take part in this fun and exciting program by providing temporary care for young or sick animals in your home.  This is a great way to provide Direct care for animals, and it helps so many little ones who need tender loving care!  You will need a parent or guardian to attend a Foster Care Orientation with you.  To join our growing team of foster care providers, please check out the foster care page at PAWS.org, email the This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it , or call 425.787.2500 ext. 822 for more information.

Participate in PAWSwalk
PAWSwalk is our biggest event and fundraiser, occurring every fall to help raise money to care for the animals. You can fundraise with the help of your family, friends and school, and then walk in the event (and bring your dog if you have one), or you can volunteer for important duties like helping people along the route or setting up. To participate in PAWSwalk, you will need a parent or guardian to accompany you. To learn more , including the date and how to sign-up, visit PAWSwalk or call 425.787.2500 ext. 833 for more information.

Wildlife Work Party Team
If you are 10 years or older, you are invited to join the Wildlife Center Work Party Team with a parent or guardian. By joining, you and your parent or guardian will be added to our email list to be notified of upcoming work parties to improve cages and facilities at PAWS Wildlife Center. Work parties occur approximately once a month depending on our needs and the time of year. If you are interested, email the This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it   or call 425.787.2500 ext. 818 and we will add you to our email list.

School Service Projects & Community Service
If you would like to receive credit from PAWS for a school service project or community service, you must submit a completed Youth Service Projects form.  Upon approval of your service project you will be required to keep a log of your hours, including a description of the work completed during those hours.  At the end of your project we request that you write a short reflection paper (1 to 3 pages) on your experience.

Once your project is complete you will have one month to turn in your log, reflection paper and any school forms requiring a PAWS signature.  An official letter from PAWS acknowledging your project will be sent to the address provided on the Youth Service Projects form. For more information and to request a form email, the This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it   or call 425.787.2500 ext. 258.
