How to Help
Youth Heroes
Erin Main Content
Erin has been a life-long dog lover. She was 12 before her parents agreed to adopt a dog—a Corgi named Maddie. Erin took a leading role in training and caring for Maddie. When she was old enough, Erin became a junior Volunteer at her local Animal Shelter where she has worked with dogs of all sizes and breeds, to help them become socialized and adoptable. This year, her family helped her to foster PAWS puppies. It was an exhausting and fulfilling experience. This past summer, Erin organized a garage sale and dog wash where she raised a total of $800 which she donated to the PAWS and ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) rescue organizations. Erin is a high school sophomore and plays the flute in her school marching band and in the Everett Youth Symphony.
Thank you Erin for all that you do to help dogs!
