Katie and Peter

Katie and Peter both love animals and decided that on Martin Luther King Day they would do a project to help the animals at PAWS. Together they raised $30 in one day of service! Here is Katie's description of the project:

"President Obama asked people across the country to have a day of service on MLK Day. I had a hot cocoa stand in my neighborhood on Martin Luther King Day. Some of my friends participated and we were on roller skates helping people pour their hot cocoa.  It was pretty cold out there. I liked that we were helping animals and having fun at the same time.  I picked PAWS because I have liked animals all of my life and wanted to help animals that don't have homes in Washington."

Thank you so much Katie and Peter for helping all the animals at PAWS!
