Phoebe loves cats.  Her two cats, Pepper and Marcel, are her best friends.  Last year, Phoebe worked hard to make a Donation for PAWSwalk.  Seeing the donation descriptions on the PAWSWalk website fired up her imagination – she loved the idea that her $40 donation would go to bottle feed a litter of Orphaned kittens.  Her family followed up with a visit to PAWS Cat City in Greenwood to help Phoebe see what her donation went toward. 

Phoebe then decided to have a “cat-themed” party to celebrate her sixth birthday in October 2008.  She asked her friends to bring donations for PAWS Cat City in lieu of birthday presents. Through her efforts, Phoebe gathered $125 worth of in-kind donations for PAWS Cat City and celebrated with another visit to the kittens of Cat City and big hugs for Pepper and Marcel at home.
