Picnic Point Knitting Club

The Picnic Point Elementary School Knitting Club did something very special with donated bundles of yarn: they made cozy blankets for shelter cats at PAWS! After the Humane Educator visited the club to tell them more about PAWS, the students spent several months knitting blankets and making yarn toys. Then the club came to PAWS for a tour and donated their creations. Their project helped provide comfort for homeless cats waiting to be adopted. The club had so much fun with the project that they are planning to do it again next year.
