How to Help
Youth Heroes
Trevor Main Content
For Trevor’s Eagle Scout project he wanted to do something special for animals. After talking with people at PAWS, he decided to collect supplies to help homeless dogs and cats at the PAWS shelter.
Here is a note he sent after bringing many carloads of donations to PAWS:
“Thank you so much for allowing me to conduct my Eagle Scout project for PAWS. The pet food supply drive was a huge success.
The project, with help from the Scouts of Troop 312, Petco, family friends and various veterinarians throughout the community, were able to raise more than 1,380 pounds of dry dog and cat food, 676 cans of wet food and other miscellaneous supplies. Combined they were all worth about $5,000 plus $1,400 in cash donations from people around the community.”
Thank you Trevor for all your hard work to help animals in need!
